Mandalorian lore/fate in question? (novel)

In case you were a huge expanded universe fan, or like to know what's up in books...

Karen Traviss is leaving her latest SW book because of issues with a change in lore regarding the Mandalorians.

An excellent post from the author is below.  Sounds bad.  And I assume I already know the Clone Wars schism due to an episode a week or so ago.  I still love the series though.

If you like anything expanded or a trivia nut, then the link it totally worth at least a skim.

From the site io9 these are various deleted scenes from the Star Wars movies: at least one from EACH episode (10 in all).

UPDATE:  Some of the videos have been removed due to Imperial entanglements copyright issue(s).  Maybe there is still an unseen gem to some, so I'll leave this up.

I also added the picture at the top - unrelated to the topic, but too darn funny to pass up.

EPIC Star Wars (behind-the-scenes) ANH

This is a movie from 1976 and such.  It is the BEHIND the SCENES of making ANH back when it was known as Star Wars.

What makes it epic?

It names names - like showing you who all these FX folks are.
It shows kit bashing in progress.  As Neo may say, "Whoah."
It shows the Death Star surface being cast.

Here you have it!

EPIC Star Wars movie - behind the scenes

This is a movie from [at least] 1976 and such.  It is the BEHIND the SCENES of making ANH back when it was simply known as Star Wars.

What makes it epic?

It names names, as in labeling people to show who all these legendary FX folks are.
It shows kit bashing in progress.  As Neo may say, "Whoah."
It shows testing out the starfield (breathtaking).
It shows the Death Star surface being cast.
It shows rotoscope testing.
Check out the couches in the viewing room.
The "trench run" as you've never seen it before.
It shows the pre CU   pre nge   pre Blu-Ray version of-  Er, nevermind...
Here you have it!
